"It was a very positive and memorable experience renting the Little Martin from Iain on my London holiday. The guitar was in great condition, it was reasonably priced, he brought it to my Leman Locke hotel (and picked it up) right on time, and - he was a nice guy and fun to talk to. I'll certainly rent from Iain again if I get the chance."

A second time hire for singer/songwriter Danny McGuire - also based in South-East London, and also serving a far wider audience that just South-East London ;-). This time the lovely 1982 natural ash-bodied P-Bass - toppy sounds and attack for his latest material. Can't wait to hear the results!

Great to have super-talented guitarist Jemil taking the Arctic White Strat out for a couple of gigs, including a show with The Hics, at London's Amazing Grace on 9 October 2023. Not the first time Jemil has hired this Strat, but the biggest night he's yet given it. Always delivers!

Not just any gig, but the launch gig for Yaz's latest single Spark, at Notting Hill Arts Centre. Krishna's amp was in for repair, so he went for the Fender Hot Rod DeVille - just the tone and headroom he needed for a big gig!

Thanks to US singer/songwriter Mae for taking the Hummingbird into the studio, while here in the UK. She told me she has an Epiphone Hummingbird back in the States, so this was the perfect match for her latest work. Looking forward to hearing the results!

That first lesson can go either way, instant love, instant hate (and probably depends more on the teacher than the guitar). But the verdict is out, and the news is he loves it . . . and so begins another glorious and dangerous lifelong passion😉

A perfect try-before-you-buy. David was in London for a week in September and chose the Little Martin to keep his practice going while on vacation. Loved it so much, he's bought one now he's back in the States. It really is that good a guitar!

Back in London for three unplugged sessions over the bank holiday weekend - and once again taking the classic pairing of 1974 Martin D-28 and 1993 Gibson J-200 out for their shows. Catch them next time they're back in town!

Many thanks to Kevin, one of two 12-string guitars hired for a 3-day studio session in August. This one the acoustic Yamaha FG-411-12N - like all Yamahas punching well above its weight, and chiming clearly through. Not long to wait until we get to hear the results - it's for a Christmas single!
