"Due to certain virus related logistical issues I found myself separated from my guitars for a time recently and so looked into hiring one for a few weeks until I could get one of my own back. I wasn’t sure how easy it would be (especially with music shops obviously shut) but turns out the process was simple and the guitar itself was better than I’d expected and certainly came in very useful indeed. In fact I was so impressed with it, having not played a 12 string for some time, that I’m looking to buy one now! All in all a 5 star service both in terms of Iain and the guitar - would thoroughly recommend both."
Trevor, banishing the lockdown blues, with a 3-week hire of our 1994 Yamaha FG-411 12-string.
"The guitar was perfect for what I needed, clearly very well looked after! Iain was really lovely and helpful, and also provided a little pack of any accessories that he thought might be useful. Will definitely come back to Iain if I need another guitar, and would recommend him to anybody else who might be looking to rent one!"

"I have rented 4 guitars from Iain over the last 9 months as part of my return to the guitar (it had been 30 years). The issue for me was I didn’t know what guitar to buy. So I decided to rent and started with the Arctic White Strat, then the Tele, then the Gibson SG and finally the Les Paul Goldtop. Iain was there every step of the way, answering questions and helping out. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot and ended up buying a PRS MCarty largely given how much I liked the Les Paul Goldtop. For any of you out there thinking about guitar rental, God’s Own Guitars is a fantastic option."

"Iain is a pleasure to talk to; he is charming, polite and very knowledgeable regarding Guitars and Bass Guitars. I rented a well maintained Precision Bass, which came in a hard case with relevant accessories; I believe this was extremely great value for money. Playing the Precision Bass it was also clear to me that it had been well serviced and looked after. With Iain’s professionalism, value and great service I have no doubt that I will be a returning customer!"
14 tracks recorded in one day by rock bassist Rich Vanderpuije, armed with our vintage 1972 Fender Precision Bass. Mammoth session!
"Iain was terrific - picked up and not only was the guitar beautiful with not a scratch on it, but he also provided a brand new strap, picks and other bits to help us along. Honestly couldn't recommend highly enough, such a lovely person and will definitely be renting from him again."

"We hired the 2006 Fender Stratocaster and another guitar for part of our filming for a new BBC 2 series. Iain was really helpful and accommodating with our plans as it was very last minute. It was packed up really well and put on a direct courier for us with no issues at all and returned to him on the same day into the evening which was very helpful for our filming. I would high recommend using Iain and Gods Own Guitars and I would use them again!"

"We hired the 1962 Fender Duo-Sonic and another guitar for part of our filming for a new BBC 2 series. Iain was so helpful and very accommodating with our plans as it was very last minute. The guitar was fantastic and in brilliant condition. Would highly recommend using Gods Own Guitars and if I ever needed to hire this sort of thing again, this company would be my first port of call."
