Hire classic, vintage and iconic guitars - electrics, basses, acoustics - plus legendary effects pedals and amps.

"God's Own" because the guitars we share are Artist Owned or Made Famous By the "Gods" - some of the most iconic guitarists and songwriters from the past 50 years.Better than "God's Own" because you too can get to share and play those very same guitars - through a simple direct hire model.  This is your way to enjoy a range of iconic guitars, without breaking the bank or tying yourself to a single guitar.

And there are so many ways that our hirers put our guitars and gear to use, whether guitarists or non-guitarists:

Personal practice

Band practice

Home and studio recording

Live performance

Video shoots

Photo shoots

Film and theatre productions

Themed events and parties

Marriage proposals and weddings

And more . . .

More than a third of our hirers are visiting London from overseas, so if you just can't go without having a guitar during your stay, we're more than happy to help.

In the end, it's really down to your needs and imagination.  Our promise to you is a high quality, end-to-end hire experience, with some of the most iconic guitars in the world.

Top 9 Instagram Posts from 2020

I know, much of 2020 may belong in the dustbin, but we kept calm and carried on hiring, and celebrating great guitarists and guitars.  As seen in our top posts from Instagram in 2020.  #1 was always going to be the 59 Les Paul Greeny, originally owned by Peter Green, passed onto Gary Moore, and now in the hands of Kirk Hammett.  It's not in the collection ;-).  But it was a very special day in January that I made the pilgrimage to Abbey Road Studios to drop off a 1983 Tube Screamer for Kirk to use with the Greeny.  If you want to see the full pairing, just click here!

2021 has 365 days to get better . . . even if it may have wasted the first few of those days trying to be too much like 2020.  Things will get better, they eventually do.  So, wishing all of you a happier, healthier and freer year - and, I promise, a few more beauties like these to keep us all going strong!

Each of our guitars is carefully researched & selected to meet the criteria of "Artist Owned", or "Made Famous By".  This is not a bulk-buy business.  We buy selectively and only as the right guitars come up.  But that's the only limitation, and the collection continues to grow.

1998 Gibson Flying V'98 Limited Edition
1998 Gibson Flying V Limited Edition,
as made famous by Albert King
OK, it's not a 1959 Flying V, the one famous in the hands of Albert King . . . But if it weren't for his love, there's a good chance the Flying V may have languished in the pile of guitar history's epic fails.  This one a 40th anniversary tribute to those legendary 58/59 Vs.
1979 Fender Black Stratocaster
1979 Fender Stratocaster,
as made famous by The Edge
As close as we'll get to one of The Edge's many 1970s maple-fretboard CBS-era Black Strats.  An absolute beauty, loved and roadworn, with a weight and sustain that matches a Les Paul.  Perfect for every New Year's Day.
2013 Fender Ron Emory Parlour Guitar
2013 Fender Ron Emory Parlour Guitar, Butterscotch,
as made famous by Ron Emory
Unlikely as it sounds, this gentle and beautifully crafted guitar's a signature model for Ron Emory, guitarist with California punks TSOL (True Sounds Of Liberty).  A butterscotch acoustic inspired by Ron's prized '52 Telecaster.
1963 Gibson J-160E The Beatles

1963 Gibson J-160E acoustic electric, as made famous by John Lennon and George Harrison. Theirs were 1962s, but a 1963 is a close second - and this one looks & plays beautifully.
