Hirer Feedback
Don't take my word for it. This is what matters most!
"The guitar looks even better in real life - could say brand new - amazing sound and portability! Couldn't have asked for a better option for our uni showcase. Fabulous service from Iain, provided us with everything we needed (a pickup for amplification!) and was very flexible with meeting times as I worked around my lab schedule. Very much looking forward to hiring a guitar again! A final positive note: it's affordable for students!
Alex Trimble's Little Martin once again working its magic, this time for a student showcase gig in London. And especial thanks to Valentina for the free marketing - hire prices to suit all budgets!

"This is really cool guitar and synth, its unlike anything else. If you want this sound, it has to be with the original gear as the myriad other ways of getting near the sound never truly satisfied me! Iain was also really helpful and attentive. 10/10 would hire again!"
First time out for the classic 80s Roland G-303/GR-300 Guitar Synth. A full week's studio session of orchestration and final overlays with UK band Demob Happy. Looking forward to a 2023 release!

"We came as a band and ordered two guitars. Was a great experience. Great service and great sounding guitars. Would really recommend renting from Iain he is a real professional and his instruments are absolutely incredible!"
Israeli band Almog Einav And The Mushrooms, making their London debut. 4 gigs, 2 classic guitars - a 1974 Gibson Ripper L9-S bass and a 1985 Rickenbacker 330. They will be back!

"Excellent, friendly and professional service, Guitar and amp in exceptional condition. Dad sat and played all day and night. Came with complimentary pack, plectrums, stand, strap etc."
The perfect Father's Day present. Thanks to Zarah (from me and her Dad!) for hiring the vintage 1977 Gibson ES-335 Walnut and Fender Champion 110 for giving her Dad a day and night to remember!

"Fantastic little amp that packs a punch. Don’t be fooled by its size! God's Own Guitars have saved us a few times now! Thanks so much."
Big thanks to John, bassist with South London band Casino Moon. A hire for one of the local Platinum Jubilee weekend street parties, the Peavey MAX115 doing what it does best!

"Guitar was great as ever (second time I hired it). Love the door to door service!!"
Thanks to Howard for a second three-week hire while over in London from the US. If you want to keep your hand in while you're away from home, there's not much that can beat the classic tones of the 1992 Mexican Telecaster!

"Excellent service from Iain, on a very last minute request from our SUPER VIP guest and he managed to get me a solution, and his instruments are impeccable and very neat, surely we will use him. Thank you again and I look forward working with you again very soon."
A pleasure to help out Arman, the very lovely concierge at The Kensington Hotel. A special guest needed a guitar for a week for their stay in London - and Alex Trimble's ever-popular Martin LX-1 hit the spot!

"Iain was so lovely and his communication was excellent. The guitar was perfect for what we needed and came with a support bag which was really useful. I will definitely hire from God's Own Guitars again! Excellent service."
Thanks to Amelia Studios for hiring the 1974 Martin D-28 for a live music video shoot. This vintage beauty loves its cameo appearances ;-).

"What an amazing amp! Don’t be deceived by the size, it’s loud. Delicious Fender clean tone with that classic Fender reverb we all love! Definitely hiring this again."
Casino Moon, bringing a bit of Fender history to a banging open air set in May. It may claim to be a 12W amp, but Danny Kustow's all-valve 1989 Fender Champ 12 packs one hell of a punch!

"We needed a nice acoustic guitar for a music video shoot. Iain made this beautiful instrument available to us quickly and easily. The handover was perfect. Thank you very much!"
Lovely hire to Kati and German singer/songwriter Matze Brietze, giving the ever-popular Yamaha LA-8 some time in London's sunshine, recording a video for Matze's song Piccadilly Circus. Look out for it!

"Rented this for a week and I have to say it was a blast. The guitar was so much fun to play and it sounds fantastic. It’s really playable and definitely looks the business. 100% would recommend this guitar! Paired with the Fender Champion amp this was a great experience! Iain is also really helpful and responsive in the whole hire process, massive thanks."
If your partner's away for a week, there's only one thing for it. Hire a deceptively small but mighty amp and a killer axe. Thanks to Tristan for the hire of the 1976 Ibanez Destroyer/1990s Fender Champion 110 combination - and thanks from his neighbours, now the hire is over ;-).

"Loud and proud amp, no complaints. This thing can blow your ears off if you want it to, I had it down low for just practice and it was the business. The foot switch that Iain supplied with it was really useful too!"
A killer guitar is nothing without a killer amp. The deceptively small but utterly mighty Fender Champion 110 doesn't need to go much above 2 to start shaking your walls.
