It's not every day the Royal Opera House casts an electric guitar in its productions. But this was a special moment - the world premiere of Last Days, an opera based around the final days of Kurt Cobain. Glowing reviews, and a cameo role that could only be taken by one guitar. A special moment. Secret Affair launch their Very Best Of album in an intimate gig at London's legendary 100 Club. Bass guitarist Edwin Pearson trades his double bass for the 1964 Hofner President, making its own debut on the 100 Club stage. A lovely man, and a lovely guitarist - just great to hear him making this vintage bass sound so good!

OK, it's never going to fill Wembley Stadium, but for at home/hotel practice, the 10W Marshall G-10 packs a punch. Thanks very much to Howard for the hire - and the patience of those in adjoining rooms ;-).
